Scott Wilson Williams

Scott Williams has devoted his practice to workers’ compensation, including longshore and §7-433c claims, since 1984. He has tried cases to conclusion in all Connecticut districts and has handled appeals to the Connecticut Compensation Review Board, Appellate Court, and Supreme Court as well as to the Federal Benefits Review Board, Court of Appeals, and U.S. Supreme Court.

Scott has lectured on workers’ compensation topics for various organizations. He was appointed to and has remained on the Chairman’s Connecticut Workers’ Compensation Advisory Panel since its inception in 1993. He has been asked to testify as an expert on workers’ compensation issues and to mediate complex workers’ compensation claims. Scott continues to be recognized by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of workers’ compensation.

Scott’s is married and enjoys a bustling home with children and dogs. He is always seeking adventures on ski, bike, and water with family and friends. Voluntary activities have included coaching youth baseball and soccer and serving as General Counsel for the local soccer association.
